Select either OPC client / servers or .Net or ActiveX communications controls for your applications. Download the simple vb.net sample app with code and dll  or OPC client and servers separately. OPC client controls will need a server to communicate with.

OPC servers run as a separate executable file. OPC servers interface with ours and other parties client controls. They use tagnames as references to device registers. The OPC server scans device registers in the background and updates the client controls automatically..

.Net and ActiveX drivers run in the same application (in-process). PLC registers are referenced by register name/address only.
